My Practice Philosophy
"It's very important that we re-learn the art of resting and relaxing.
Not only does it help prevent the onset of many illnesses that develop through chronic tension and worrying;
it allows us to clear our minds, focus, and find creative solutions to problems."
Thich Nhat Hanh

Whether you're overwhelmed by a recent life event, a medical diagnosis, grief, or a toxic work environment, you don't have to navigate it alone. Anxiety, unhealthy habits, feeling stuck, and unexplained physical tension are normal responses to chronic stress and burnout. Our brain keeps the score; our body responds.
Repeated stress can tip the nervous system into hypervigilance, withdrawal, or disconnection from loved ones. Over time, the brain builds strong, automated survival pathways - like a path well walked through long grasses. With intention and self-acceptance, we can rebuild the paths we need.
How Hypnotherapy Helps
By entering a relaxed, focused state, we can better engage the subconscious mind to re-establish helpful patterns of emotion and behaviour, and strengthen self-regulation. With repetition, we can stimulate healthier neural pathways, weaken old unhelpful loops, and build connections rooted in calm, resilience, and self-trust.
Hypnotherapy can help to reconnect you to internal resources that strengthen regulation of your responses to perceived threats, while self-care and self-compassion get woven into daily life, reinforcing that resilience further.
"Trust your unconscious; it knows more than you do." Milton H. Erickson
Creating Space for Lasting Change
An overstressed nervous system can get trapped in a survival loop - fight, flight, freeze, or fawn. Without time to return to baseline, these patterns become more embedded into everyday life.
Clinical hypnotherapy helps to create space to connect more deeply with the subconscious in a relaxed state, gently retraining the nervous system towards a grounded balance and calm.
I offer a safe, respectful, compassionate space to explore and resolve self-limiting patterns - clarifying your values and goals while building:
-
Resilience to handle life's stressors
-
Clarity of mind and purpose
-
Self-trust and personal autonomy
Compassion-Based Therapy
Meaningful change happens when we meet ourselves with compassion, not criticism. Many patterns that keep us stuck - anxiety, self-doubt, overwhelm - developed for understandable reasons.
My approach combines evidence-informed therapies from clinical hypnotherapy, strategic psychotherapy and counselling, to help facilitate better nervous system regulation in a collaborative space where you feel supported and safe to explore, learn, and grow.
Responding to ourselves with kindness rather than judgement reduces shame, strengthens emotional resilience, and supports lasting change. It doesn't mean lowering standards - it means building the inner resources to meet challenges with courage and self-understanding.
My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, build practical skills for emotional wellbeing, and create lasting change that aligns with the life you want to live.
